What is a Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation involves the placement of an implant into the breast to enlarge or enhance it. This may be combined with a breast lift if the patient also wants to correct drooping or sagging of the breast.

Breast implants are placed either in front of or behind the breast muscle during a relatively simple outpatient procedure. There are two main types of breast implants – saline and silicone gel implants – each of which has unique advantages and disadvantages. One of our experienced plastic surgeons will help you decide which type of breast implant will best allow you to meet the goals you have for your appearance. Our surgeons are some of the best in the area so you know you will be in good hands.

Breast Reduction

Some women experience a self-consciousness that comes with having overly large breasts. These women may also deal with health problems as the weight of excess breast tissue can cause back, and other bodily pain that can impair their ability to live an active life. If you are looking for a safe and effective way to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body, we have a solution for you.

Look Great MD’s Certified cosmetic surgeons are experts in their field and have performed thousands of breast reductions. During breast reduction surgery, small incisions are made in order to remove excess fat, tissue and skin. This surgery is performed under anesthesia and will require some care and time for recovery and healing. However, our surgeons use techniques to minimize scarring and expedite recovery. Results will be immediate! Physically, your body will be proportionately reshaped and the uncomfortable weight previously carried will be alleviated.

*Individual results may vary.
